What a beautiful story. Not all romance books need to be fun and uplifting all the time. That’s not life. This truly showed what life is, how we work through the tough times, and who we can learn to count on. In life I feel we do “mask” for others to fit in, to not be different, to feel connected. It’s hard to take off the mask and fight for ourselves and this was a beautiful story. So thankful for Helen Hoang and helping us learn through her eyes.
