I loved Brotherhood so much, I had to get to the manga series eventually, and this first time did not disappoint!
It’s as hilarious as it is packed with action. Both Edward and Alphonse are already well developed and I love them both. My only complaint would be that Alphonse doesn’t “sound” as young as in the anime (which I get is harder to do in a printed medium, but I think it could have been done with a different, softer font when he speaks) and that’s a shame because that’s part of what makes him so intriguing to everyone they meet.
I’m absolutely sold on the manga now and so excited to see more of Mustang and Hawkeye!!
