First let me say I really enjoyed this story. I think Tanvier Pert is a great writer and wrote a really compelling romance and I'm looking forward to book #2.

Second, Justice got on my nerves! She was very insecure and the miscommunication trope just bugged the hell out of me. I hate that trope anyway, but I deal with it since it's in sooooo many books.
Since they broke up because Justice thought Terrence cheated, I don't think it was necessary to have that be the conflict again after they got back together. And even then I could deal with it, but to then have her not communicate again!? and not speak to him about her suspicious was just incredibly childish and annoying. When they split up, she just left him without an explanation and ghosted. You don't ghost someone when you've been together 10+ years.

Terrence was so patient dealing with Justice's insecurities and lack of communication skills. I will admit he acted like a stupid man while at the couple's retreat and many a time I wanted to knock him out because why would you do that Terrence?!?!? Especially when you're trying to get your woman back🙄
