“What’s it going to be, golden girl? Brave enough to run from the devil?”
“Hasn’t anyone ever told you that it’s perverse to get turned on by tears and blood?”
“So, what’s it going to be my little captive? Am I going to feed you or eat you?”
The banter and tension between the FMC and MMC were so good and well-written. I loved their dynamic.
The cooking competition vibes were a nice touch and something I hadn’t read before. Reading this made me hungry.
The revelation about Aurélie towards the end was something I didn’t see coming.
The first 75% of the book was great, but I have mixed feelings about the ending. I’m interested to see where the story goes next.
