I enjoyed the setting and the back story to each of the main characters but the book fell flat for me. There were a handful of moments where the story just dropped off. I didn’t always understand the characters decisions as they sometimes thought one thing and did the complete opposite. The romance and tension held so much potential but wasn’t executed the way I’d hoped. Hoping others in the series are redeeming and will come back to try again.
