Ok ok ok! This book is so so so good!

Last year I got into my cowboy romance era (iykyk) and thought I wanted a man like Griffin Eden, Theo Silva, or Beau Eaton but ummmmm I think I need a Weston Duke in my life. Or I just need someone to call me darling and then proceed to whip me off a sled from the back of a four-wheeler, who knows 🤷‍♀️

This is a wonderful 5 star read that isn’t spicy! Don’t get me wrong, I like a good spicy book but sometimes ya girl needs a break and this was def worth the read. It’s fast paced and has just the perfect amount of swoon to keep you hooked.

I loved the characters (even Cassidy who I think is a little full of himself and thinks he’s Gods gift to women), I felt seen when Tenley felt guilty for having fun and not being there for her family. Weston literally made me swoon and giggle and cry just a smidge with his backstory. And one more thing about Tenley? Might be my new favorite female character ever. She’s strong, resilient, and isn’t afraid to show her feelings and her flaws.

I literally highlighted so much that I can’t put every single quote that I loved but here’s a few that really stuck out:

Weston grinned, and I studied his face. I’d previously admitted to myself that he was an attractive man, but there was something more now. Something free about him.

“It’s easy to smile around you,” he whispered.

I can’t wait to read book 2 and see more of these two!
