This is going to be more of a review about this trilogy as a whole (excluding summer flame) I'm also just gonna put bullet points of things I liked because I am a bad reviewer.
Tasslehoff surprised me it is nice to see a comic relief character have a bit more to them
The second book was a slog but this one made up for it
I don't really like how Kitiara was written, I wish she was more of a "villain" we could feel sympathetic for, it was touched on a little bit but not as much as I would have liked.
I liked how there were not really any (main) characters I hated,
I like how Rastalin was written he was a bad guy but not really? mixed morality is hard to find in early-ish fantasy books like this
