Loved loved loved this book. It was enlightening and inspiring.
Ultimately, it was not what I had expected. I thought it was an autobiography. Instead, this book is a collection of essays, briefs, Supreme Court decisions (both agreements and dissentions), speeches, and other publications by RBG. They are categorized by her life's timeline and given introductions by other authors, which grant clarity about the goings on of the time in which that particular writing was created, including other cases and opinions which RBG may reference or cite entire opinions from.
Personally, I was fascinated from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an interest in our judicial system - particularly at the federal level and in the appellate courts - or in the history of the civil rights movement, or to feminists in general.
