Kim Alexander’s “The Sand Prince” is the brilliant and enchanting start to her epic fantasy series, The Demon Door.

I personally thought it was a fantastic read - the world building was spectacular, and I was hooked on the story from start to finish.

There was so much happening all at once when it came to the plot, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I actually liked all the different storylines, and I felt invested in the fates of multiple characters.

This book was also incredibly action-packed, and had wonderful plot twists I wasn’t expecting! I also enjoyed the political intrigue.

All in all, I truly did enjoy this read. I will definitely be continuing the series, and I’m very excited to see what happens next. I think most epic fantasy fans will find something to appreciate about “The Sand Prince!”
