I must confess, I read this book months ago, and am finally penning the review

I love absolutely everything about this world and this series. This book starts off a little after where ADSoM ends, and I must agree seeing Lila in all her badass-ness was amazing! 

My most favorite part of the book were the Element Games! It was so exciting to see different people with their magic and the way they practice it. It gave me the same vibes that the tournament in The Legend of Korra! OMG, I absolutely was in love! 

Lila stole my heart in this one, but she also infuriated me. She is a headstrong woman, but VERY stubborn and sometimes downright stupid. If I speak anymore I might give away what happens in the book! 

Last but not the least, Rhy 😍 my dear dear babe! Oh how I love thee. Kell and Rhy are back with their brotherly banter and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was also exciting to see Rhy’s POV in multiple ways, especially as the heir to the Maresh Throne. 

All in all: a really good book and would totally read it again!
