This book was amazing. I honestly didn't think I'd like it, but I was hooked and didn't want to put it down. The slow burn romance between Achilles and Patroclus was so important throughout this story. They learned together, fought for each other, even against the gods. It was such a special bond to read. The war in Troy was really interesting to read about as well. I was willing Achilles to fight alongside Patroclus as he tried to save the Greeks. I was surprised at what Achilles son was, though. Honestly, this book was incredible.
