(Not) Your Basic Love Story by Lindsay Maple

2.0

The premise sounds promising, and when I found out that this is a diverse romance read, I'm beyond excited.

Unfortunately, the only thing that is exciting about this book is the premise and almost everything— like 65-ish% perhaps isn't just it.

The romance between the pairing is something I don't like. It screams toxic and settling for less to me? Especially the whole communication that weren't really in their relationship?

There are some parts that I enjoyed, but the rest was just poorly executed.
