4.5/5 stars. Physical book. I have to say this is the first book recommendation from TikTok that I did not hate. I was not expecting to rate it as high as I did. The novel was so enthralling to me and I could not put this book down. Evelyn is a force to be reckoned with and so is her story. There were so many moments in the book when I felt how powerful and dynamic a character in a book can truly be. I loved the passages when Evelyn wrote about her daughter; as a new mom, they were very meaningful to me. I also found parts of myself in Evelyn, especially when she maintains that she is not a good person, but she values the truth. Loved this book and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for something captivating.
