Ravensong by TJ Klune
5.0
Reread November 2023
I think it really says something about Klune’s writing and how he tells a story that, despite finding the actual writing maybe not the best (it does get repetitive, and I swear to god, if I have to hear Ox talking about how his dad said he was going to get shit all his life, I seriously might scream), I’m still extremely invested in the story. I care about the characters and what’s happening with them. Maybe it’s the ridiculously high levels of drama and angst?
The series is hitting a bit differently on this reread, though I’m still very much enjoying it.

Ugh, how are these books so good?!?!?
