4.0

Excellently written story of a vampire called Louis who has the gift of eternal life and cursed with the craving of human blood, this whole book is him telling his 200 year long story to a journalist.

Tells about his time in New Orleans with Lestat (the vampire who turned him)

Of the vampire child, Claudia (whom they made)

Of his travels around the world searching for other vampires...

Took me a while to get into it but I ended up liking it.

There's no chapters, just four parts. Didn't like that; I like my chapters.

It's such a character driven book, I didn't particularly like the characters but they were well-written.

It's a dark, eerie and atmospheric read and I give it 4/5!

A must-read for VAMPIRE FANS!
