this is star wars if you never see a body and someone just gets mentioned offhand as having died once and never clarifies who they are and also you never see their body they're definitely still alive. if thrawn gets a twist ending in thrawn 1 where his exile was fake unlike last time we can get a twist ending in this trilogy where thrass is alive unlike last time

anyway space battles are boring. can we get more 9 year olds in here??? actually can we just cut all the space battles. i want family drama and intrigue, investigating a mystery, weird nonsense bullshit!!

making thrawn a pilot of any skill was a bad idea and just saying "oh he's bad at political maneuvering and strategy" is lazy if you do a bad job of showing it.

hey wtf was that bit at the end with aralani all "hmm i never saw aliens as people before!!" WHAT and then thrawn "hmm i kinda thought aliens were people but also don't care all people are tools for me to use :)" OK DUDE i guess when i was complaining he doesn't have flaws that's a big ass flaw so i get what i paid for (nothing i paid $0 for any of these books)

do i keep reading dune or do i rerereread both outbound flight and ender's shadow after this?
