The Drop by Michael Connelly
dark
mysterious
tense
3.0
It was very middle of the road. It felt a bit like an "in between" book, and it seems like most Bosch books in the series at this point end on a unsatisfactory note. There's an heaviness that gets a little tiring, that wasn't always there even if things were sometimes morally gray.
I don't quite remember if I've read this one before, but I know I'm getting into the numbers where I stopped the Connelly series back then. I'm excited for the unknown, but I'd like just a tiny bit more hope I guess, or something nice in the background overarching story of Bosch and his social life. Anyway.
