A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

What I loved:
Familial bonds/traditions, spending time in Velaris among its people, and seeing life through multiple perspectives vs only Feyre’s.
What I did not love:
So much focus on sex and drinking. It was over the top and distracting from any actual storyline. It comes across as juvenile at best for a woman in her 20s and a “male” 500+. All they can think about is sex amid all the important business of rebuilding after war.
Many describe this story as the “Christmas Special” and it really does have that vibe since it revolves around the Winter Solstice. There were good moments and insights, but not a lot of substance. It was fairly disappointing after such a great trilogy.
