Ignored too many grown up things today to finish this. It was brilliant! I love that we got Henri's story as he claims his new kingdom. He's faced with assassination attempts, an unfamiliar, arid climate, hostile kings, weary citizens, a sexual awakening, and his biggest fight for survival yet. This story is full of politics, suspense, friendship, love, spice and ends on the wildest cliffhanger/plot twist. Oof! This is @clairebutlerauthor's best book yet! This was an ARC - release date is April 13!
