Never Doubt a Duke by Regina Scott

3.0

Jane is a cavalryman's widow desperate for a position. When Miss Thorn and her cat Fortune step in to help her, she finds herself the governess of the widowed Duke of Wey's 3 daughters. Being of strong opinions, high intellect and a risk taker, Jane is first challenged and questioned by all but of course gradually wins all to love her. Even the Duke. There is even a moment of high drama and the Duke riding ventre-à-terre to claim her from the London Mail Coach. Riding a unicorn, of course.

I loved this sweet, charming, predictable regency romance and will be reading the rest of the series. Besides there is clearly a HEA at the end of the series for Miss Thorn, and a journey until we reach it.
