This re-telling of my favourite Greek myth the story of Psyche and Eros was good. The prose was well done and the story flowed well and incorporated and wove in other people we know from Greek myth well. My only issue with it was that the emotions of the characters didn’t seem deep enough for me. Eros is the god of desire and his love for Psyche and hers for him is the driving plot of the story and sometimes their emotions seemed surface level. However that being out of the way the author did a great job of writing the relationship and developing both their characters throughout. If you like Greek myths I highly recommend. It’s not a very long read as well.
