This was a nice story with some interesting info about wagon trains. I did find it a little hard to believe that a very pregnant woman would take such a risk. While I understand her predicament, it seemed foolish.
I enjoyed learning about some details of such a journey and how people must work together. There were so many dangers and risks; therefore unity was so important.
Seeing the honesty and growth between the main characters is relatable to the average person. Both had to overcome deep pain and had to learn reliance on God again.
