This is my first time reading this book since I was a teenager. I am glad to report that the story still holds up. Claire can be a little annoying in that standard 'boy obsessed' trope but that calms down, or becomes more targeted atleast. I was a little dissapointed we didn't get a little more time to think about the micheal mystery before all was revealed. The vampires are interesting, I will be honest that I dont remember enough of the series from my previous read to know wherther there are actually good vamps or if some of them are just better at hiding their evil. I cant wait to continue this series and hopefully I will continue to enjoy it. Also I hope karma gets Monica and Gina, they deserve it, Jury is still out on the other minions.
