My Broken Language: A Memoir by Quiara Alegría Hudes
Did not finish book. Stopped at 52%.
I’ll probably come back to this book at some point, but I am just not at all in the mood for it and haven’t been for a while now.
At first, I was really enjoying it! I vibe with the storytelling style, the stories themselves are interesting, and I love reading about this type of personal journey (as a first gen/immigrant from D.R. myself).
I can’t figure out what it is about this I'm not connecting with, but I just need to put it down for now rather than forcing my way through a little bit at a time.
