This was my first read by Rainbow Rowell.
There really wasn't much at all to this one plot-wise, it's basically two friends (Josiah & Deja) who work year after year together at a pumpkin patch and this is their last year working there before heading off to college and they want to make their last shift the best shift ever.
So while Deja is happy to eat all the snacks she can get her hands on, Josiah wants more, he wants to talk to a girl he's had a crush on for years and tries to get help from his friend Deja..
It'll be a night that will forever change them both..
I'll leave it there.
It was cute.
But..
Short.
Not much context.
I read it in 20 minutes.
I'd like to read more from this author.
Nice feel to this one.
