Notebooks 1935-1942 by Philip Thody, Albert Camus
5.0
only a touch autobiographical, a peek into camus' emotions and sensitivities is still an enormous treat. it's especially interesting (and a privilege) to witness how the ideas for his plays, novels, and essays cropped up—how his disappointment (in politics, global affairs) manifested as a seemingly unfurling ambition to express, to iron out the wrinkles of life. i love him!!!! i love him with all my HEART!!!
