How amazing would it be if you could borrow the sight of all the wild creatures around you? You could experience how it feels to soar through the air like a falcon or float down a river like an otter. How it feels to see in the dark like an owl or leap from tree to tree like a squirrel.

Well, that’s exactly what Rhodd can do.

No one really knows where Rhodd came from. She just appeared from the wilds of the marsh one day, bringing fear upon the village, as nothing good ever came from the marsh.

But they were wrong. Trouble is brewing, and Rhodd might be the only one who can save them all!

When a strange sickness takes hold of the village, and the river is swallowed by the marsh - pushing out any wildlife that remained - Rhodd knows she needs to do something. She must return to the marsh…

Wilder is a wonderfully magical adventure, perfect for nature lovers of all ages. Intertwining the importance of rewilding with magical realism, friendship and a big helping of naturey goodness.

It was like a middle grade combination of ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ and ‘Once Upon A River’ - both of which I loved. I also recommend for fans of The Twitchers series.

A beautiful story of how rewilding ourselves relights our spark to rewild the land.
