Guns by Stephen King

5.0

Balanced and still relevant

I went into this expecting a very liberal argument for strict gun control like maybe banning gun ownership, but what I got was a common sense argument for additions to existing gun restrictions. King uses the real example of gun restrictions in Australia to show that limiting the types of weapons people can buy can have a dramatic impact on the number of gun-related deaths. This is about a 30 to 45 minute read from a middle perspective on gun ownership in the US. I recommend it, and if you have Amazon Prime, you can read it for free with Prime Reading.
