The Siege and Fall of Troy by Robert Graves

3.0

A very slim retelling of the Trojan War with the aftermath thrown in almost as an epilogue. Written for younger readers, it nonetheless retains the, er, “adult themes” of the original stories as well as the immense body count. Being Robert Graves it doesn’t shy away from the amorality of the Greek Pantheon or the men (mostly) that are the protagonists of this tale and could be quite traumatic for sensitive readers.
