When I first started reading this book, it felt super drawn out until we got to Part III or IV of the book. I felt that much of the plot focused too much on the sister's children more than the two sisters which made me feel as though the book was more about the daughters and their life and not Stella and Desiree. But as we started getting further past Part III I really enjoyed the story of Jude and Reese. While these could have been two separate books, it was a great telling of their relationship. All in all, this book was enjoyable and I would recommend it to someone.
