Walking: One Step at a Time by Erling Kagge

4.5
As a person who enjoys a good hike, to experience the depths of the woods, the heights of hills, and the cleansing of a humid sweat, Kagge has hit upon a quality in walking to which I aspire. That is, a more profound sensual experience in stretching one’s legs. Since starting this book, I’ve started taking the stairs more often, set out on walks, and I’ve also been more intentional about sensing the world around me. In that regard, this book has slowly been saving my sanity and my health. It isn’t a perfect book, but it’s quite good.
