Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney

Basically a rip off of Agatha Christie but as if it was written by Colleen Hoover.

This was painful to get through because of all the quasi-philosophical, cheesy as hell one-liners that were at the end of what felt like every single paragraph.

Some examples:

"Sometimes we have to let go of what we had in order to hold on to what we've got."

"If you spend your present focusing on your past you will never change your future."

"Sometimes when people try too hard to be more than they are, they end up being less than they were. "

"Apprehension is the mother of our mistakes, and tries to warn us before we make them, but we don't always listen to our mothers."

There were so. many.

And the twist was just laughable.
