“Time, Vale,” I said. “Time is the most valuable resource of all, and some of us are perpetually short.”

Felt very Dramione and Beauty & the Beast coded and I would have devoured it in one sitting if it was so late.

Intrigued by the dynamic and romance between Lilith & Vale. As grumpy as he was, it was clear he was captivated by her. And just loved their interactions.

“Whatever you need,” he said. “My blood. My books. My knowledge. Anything. It is yours.”

The letters to each other were so dang cute. And although for a vampire, he was rather cute.

I welcome any letters you wish to send before your visit. I will help you however I can. If you want it. Vale.”

The world building and learning curve is fairly steep. Make sure to check out the glossary, which I missed until the end of the book.

Keen to explore the rest of this series.
