Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
3.0
This was a very pleasant book, and I enjoyed it for the most part. It had such sweet moments, especially at the end. Delves into women being "boyish" and not wanting to marry someone which for the 1800s was quite revolutionary. I found it incredibly boring near the middle chapters I found, and I understand why some friends of mine said they dropped the book around there. I got through it okay and at least the ending was sweet enough to be somewhat worth the trouble. Also SPOILER: I thought Beth dies, and I was so surprised when she didn't which is hilarious. I told my teacher I knew Beth died lol.
EDIT: apparently Beth dies in a different version of Little Women. In the original she doesn't die, but she dies in the sequel, and sometimes (usually in the US) the sequel is combined with the original book to create another book called "Little Women". Hence: the confusion.
