maybe it's just because i'm not in that period of time where i care a ton about romance and all that jazz (well, the real life ones, because honestly most of the times, they suck), maybe it's  not the right time, not the right place, but i found this painfully boring. middle school me ate her two other poetry collections so bad but this one was somehow hard to digest. (which is kinda weird actually because it's barely even two years since then. have i really changed that much? in the span of only two years?). and truly, i don't believe it's because of the quality of the book itself. it's just ME. the more one can relate to poetry, the better the poetry is to the person. and i unfortunately couldn't really relate to most of these at all. it also kinda dragged on to be honest. again, maybe it's just because of me, but i also found it a bit... tedious? i just couldn't wait for it to be over. 

unfortunately, i do rate books based on my enjoyment and my enjoyment for this one was VERY LOW, so.. 2 stars :/ (12.10.23)
