Jeremy Ray is rapidly becoming one of my favorite novella writers. I love the flash fiction at the start of all his stories, I love how thoughtful he is when portraying difficult topics, and I love the hell out of how he writes women.
This was a delightful little story about a girl who has a bad dating history and her new boyfriend who’s got way more going on than it seems. It’s a story that’s been told before but I quite like this version. In this day and age I wish every victim had a few statues around.
