The Guns of August by Barbara W. Tuchman

4.0

An excellent book that goes beyond the obvious facts and looks into the hows and whys. The only sad thing about it is that reading it in a time a strife and crisis one realises that we haven't been taught much from history and most nations and their leaders exhibit again the (erroneous) behaviours that led to the Great War and its consequences.
