Turns out I can only really take so many world war 2 stories in a row. Plus the narrator of the audiobook made the choice to portray a specific character with a really squeeky and oddly accented voice, even after the in-story narrator indicated they won’t be depicting that character with written phonetic accent anymore. Which was just really annoying to listen to.
