Lots of world building and introductions to many characters. Start of a series so it's understandable, but it was a lot. The writing was good, the characters interesting. I liked Beth, she's soft and strong in a well rounded believable way. Wrath was a strong reluctant leader. Their relationship was fast paced. I liked the bonds the characters formed by the end. This was my first audiobook as my library didn't have the ebook and while it was fine I can't help thinking I would of enjoyed this more in ebook form. Probably because of all the details.
