Decent later in life romance. It’s nice to have protagonists in their 40s who have histories. Dunbar’s MMCs sometimes are overly aggressive and proprietorial. There are moments of this in the book, and it left a bad taste in my mouth at times. But I liked the FMC so she helped balance that out.
