A very challenging read but one I found really helpful and inspiring - learning to think about the ways our bodies are implicated in the events that shape our lives can be so impactful on the ways we think and feel about them. Seemed like fairly good psychology throughout as well. The best kind of pop science writing that doesn't dumb down the research but endeavours to make it as relatable and engaging as possible for a lay reader, whilst connecting to the bigger truths. Thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in their own happiness and mental health!
