Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Pérez
5.0
Phenomenal. I wholeheartedly recommend Invisible Women to everyone because the gap in data should be more known, especially women.
This book covers the effects of the gender-based data gap in Daily Life, the Workplace, Product Design, Medicine, Public Life and Disasters. And while having phone too big for the average woman's hand is annoying, it becomes dangerous when some drugs do not work for women because it has only been tested on men in the trials, or when no safety dummies for women exist in car safety testing.
I just think this is information that is important to be known and I am glad this book exists.
