Phantom Limbs by Paula Garner

I really wanted to like this book. It seemed to have a good set up: Otis and Meg are best friends who are separated by her move after the tragic death of Otis's younger brother. Otis also has friend who lost an arm - and an Olympic dream - and now turns all her attention to Otis's swimming prospects, creating a complicated relationship. But pretty much from the start, the book was way too dramatic for me. I hoped it would get better, but it never did. It felt like a hugely unrealistic book and I could not connect with any of the characters. I read it to finish it only. That being said, I think a lot of other people would like it. It just was not for me.
