This book started off SO strong. I was so into the characters, the relationships, the story. But I don’t know, something is probably wrong with me, because it didn’t end up clicking like I thought it would. Somewhere along the way I stopped being invested and just wanted this one to end.

With that being said, I truly believe that there’s a Mary H.K. Choi book for everyone - her stories are unique but yet also very true-to-life at the same time - that’s such a weird description LOOL. I apologize.

Is this my favourite book from her? Yes! But I also highly recommend Emergency Contact as well.
