The Last To Drown by Lorraine Wilson

adventurous challenging dark emotional sad tense medium-paced

5.0

Even though this was a deeply sad story, I throughougly enjoyed it. Lorraine has a way of describing grief in a totally unique way. Tinnas' loss of her husband, Ben, is so devastatingly told through her in this story that you can't help but feel for her. Along with her chronic pain from the accident and all she is feeling is bad enough but then to learn from her Aunt Lilith why she can't go down to the ocean is also why her mother moved her and her brother away from a home they loved is heartbreaking. I really recommend giving this one a read.
