Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
3.0
Eh.
Cool premise, but not a lot else.
Good: The world building really tied into everything at the end, and I think that it has potential. Despite how some passages dragged, at some point I found the book a lot of fun, and couldn't stop reading. I also care about the romance, but I think it's because I think the MC and the prince don't have nearly as much chemistry as her and Chaol. Maybe that's a negative. Hrm. I love the female friendship in this.
Bad: Not as much assassin things, not as much action. The first book is obviously a set up for things in the future. Didn't really like any of the characters except for Nehemia and Chaol. Very eh, very typical YA romance, you know.
