Ahh this was so good!!
I loved that it was set up like a yearbook and had different ads throughout warning parents of satanic behaviors their children could be involved in or teen magazine quiz snippets.
Never underestimate the power of friendship. Abby and Gretchen have a unbreakable bond. The end really got me emotional.
At times when they were at school and Abby was simply observing Gretchen’s weird behavior or trying to get an adult to take her seriously, I found myself waiting for something more to happen. There was a lot of build up. But the second half of the book is very fast paced.
All of the adults in this book absolutely enraged me. No one listened to their children. None of the teachers helped.
Abby was such a good friend. I hope everyone finds a friend like Abby, willing to go through hell for your friendship, willing to preform an exorcism for your friendship. They love each other so much. DBNQ 💕
