Oh.... em.... GEE!!!!
There are so many things I have to say about this book I just don't even know where to start. First of all can we just take a second to talk about Marie Lu aka the Goddess of Teen fiction literature! All the books I've read by her are amazingly written, fast paced, and just PERFECT in every way!!!
In Legend we are introduced to Day, a rebellious teenager and June, a dedicated and intelligent government agent. This novel is the PERFECT introduction to the rest of the series.
In Prodigy, we see how their relationship progresses and is followed by an amazing adventure where we are introduced to the Patriots, Republics rebels who want nothing more but to return The United States back to its former glorious self.
In Champion, EVERYTHING and EVERYONE comes together for one final fight for the Republic.
I got so attached to June and Day it's so hard to let them go, I can't believe this is the final book! From the beginning Marie Lu didn't let me down with her fast paced writing style. It seems that about ten pages in, the country is already preparing for battle. June and Days relationship FINALLY (and can I say that one more time please?) FINALLY leads to some sultry steamy full blown romance (thank you Maria Lu) ;)
The story is action packed and filled with so many twists and surprises, it was like watching a blockbuster film just unleashing before your eyes. This book made me feel so many emotions I lost count! I felt happy then heartbroken, then afraid, then nervous, then happy all over again! And then there's the ending...... WOW JUST WOW!!!!
Bravo Marie Lu, BRAVO! It leaves you with so many unanswered questions you just want MORE!!!
But based on how it ended, there may not be anymore, thank you for a roller coaster of emotions and one of the most amazing books of our time Marie Lu!
