This book was a 4.5 for me but I am still rating it 5 because I really loved the series. To be honest, this book was my least favourite of the 3. I just didn't get the climax part. I just didn't get why modern day weapons were a problem for peculiars? Why they didn't use their peculiar-ness to take control the of situation? I don't get it why one of the character had to die? Or maybe ransom riggs saved that character to write a spin-off series based on that character. I wanted more action from miss peregrine, she was absolutely my favorite but, unfortunately, she wasn't given many chances to prove what a great leader and guardian she was. I didn't like the fight scene between the two over sized creatures in end and the whole idea of soul sucking turning you into a giant, it was quite lame.

Anyway, I am glad that ransom will be exploring more of this world but, damn! I am going to miss all these characters that have grown to love so much. I also can't wait to see these characters on the big screen.

I hardly re-read any book but I am sure I will be visiting peculiardom again, pretty soon.
