This is a mystery thriller set in Texas. The big mystery is way Audie Palmer escaped from prison the day before he was due to be released after spending 10 years behind bars. Slowly the reason is revealed and it leads to a climatic finish.

I enjoyed this easy to read story and found it surprisingly captivating. The more you learn about the main characters the more you get to like him. Very recommended.
